My blue box around the house disapeared when i added a row of blocks as stairs infront of the door just 1 row 1 block high to reach the door
It sounds like the row then extends down in the ground, i had this happen aswell.

Same, I had laid down a row of blocks in front of a door and then painted it. When I tried to build it gave me a row of red blocks undernearth on the ground.
