A Schrödinger's roof

Summary:
I’ve build a roof, but it said “not built cuz you haven’t any beds”. I tried to destroy the building, and what happened:

I can’t destroy it(as a finished building) or erase(as a plan). That means it’s a building and a plan simultaneously. Like a Schrödinger’s cat. But it’s a roof. Funny. :angry:

Steps to reproduce:

I don’t really know, I was just buliding a house with a roof.

System Information:
[Everything is pretty weak.]

if you could share the savefile this is in, im sure the devs would like to take a look at it :slight_smile:

Another bug: I tried to save this roof as template, but the game crashed. The save file has been corrupted after crash. :sob:

Summary:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Build house with roof
  2. use gum to erase the roof (or ctrl Z)

Expected Results:
Roof will go away to edit it

Actual Results:
Roof stays

The same problem, man :weary:. Umm, compare with “A Schrödinger’s roof” (search for it).

With “build” do you refer to “design” / “draw”, or actually “build”?

We don’t support editing buildings after they’ve been built, only moving/replacing furniture but the original will still show in the blueprint.

Was this roof made with the roof tool, or with the blocks tool?
Was the building correctly selected before you tried to use the erase tool?

Can’t reproduce this on r866.
