Qubicle Competition Model Submission. Cycle 2, Week 1 - The Underground

Firstly a massive thank you to everybody who participated in the first cycle of our Qubicle competition, we had some fantastic entries, and the final comprised of some amazing models.

Our joint winners of the cycle were @TobiasSabathius and @voxel_pirate - I will contact them shortly regarding prizes.

So here it is, week 1 of the second cycle of the Stonehearth Qubicle competition, and the theme for this week, thanks to @Snowy is - “What will the underground look like?”

I’m going to widen this a little and allow you to submit something you might find underground - for those of you who don’t feel as able to create a scene in Qubicle.

Just to go over the rules once more:

 • You can only submit one model per week.
 • The model can be anything related to the theme, as long as it can be achieved with the free version of Qubicle - no post-production effects, animations, etc.
 • Vote for as many models as you want - simply ‘like’ their post by clicking the heart at the bottom of the submission.
 • Keep all discussion of this week over [urlhttp://discourse.stonehearth.net/t/qubicle-competition-discussion-thread-cycle-2-week-1-the-underground/2382] here, as anything in this thread that isn’t a model will be moved or deleted.

Model submissions will close on the 3rd/4th July (seeking feedback), and the winners of this week will be announced on the 4th/5th July.

We want to see models regardless of ability and quality as we’re thinking about the possibility of having future awards such as ‘most improved modeller’, so don’t feel like you can’t submit!

Check out the upcoming theme’s for the next 4 weeks of the competition at the [urlhttp://discourse.stonehearth.net/t/qubicle-competition-theme-schedule/2403] theme schedule thread.

You can download Qubicle basic [urlhttp://www.minddesk.com/purchase.php] here .

This topic is now pinned. It will appear at the top of its category until it is either unpinned by a moderator, or the Clear Pin button is pressed.

I moved a post to an existing topic: Qubicle Competition Discussion Thread. Cycle 2, Week 1 - The Underground!

Here is my Submission:

We’re about halfway through this weeks competition, submissions close on Sunday, and it looks like @chickenfried will earn himself a default position in the final!

Perhaps an update on prizes will spur your interests.

@Tim is again being a great human being, and has offered any winner of the competition, who already own the Qubicle Home edition, an upgrade to either the Master edition, or to Qubicle Voxelizer. This prize will be offered to the first placed person in the final.

Second place in the final will receive a copy of a game from our extensive backlibrary (slight over exaggeration, we only have a couple to offer at the moment, I’ll get my begging hat on) .

Get your submissions in people, I’ll love you forever!
