Stonehearth is a game I like to put under the genre of “false alpha”. It is in alpha, in name only. Another game that is a false alpha might be Reign of Kings or TUG. The game at it’s core, won’t be changing much from here. Normally this would be what most people would call a “beta” but each company labels their game’s differently. The main point is, even though we get bugs and regular patches, along with new additions, it’s never anything drastic. We can make mods like armor and chairs because it won’t change much in the future. Radiant has altered the system for modding more than I’d argue the game in the last few months just to make it easier, for them, and for us. If you look back months ago, it was difficult to mod, now all it is, is color pallet, model or name swaps and done. Sure it might not be 100% perfect yet, but it’s good enough that people are finally interested in doing it. Plus even if the game does change the modding system, it will just be adding or subtracting a few lines of json files (which they wouldn’t probably do since they’d have to change all the other files).

Alpha/ Beta/ Final product, Is whatever the dev’s decide it is (it’s really no more complicated then that). All that you read or heard is a quasi-guide nothing more, nothing less (It doesn’t have to be followed… Reality has a way of messing with that which is nothing more than a opinion).
