Trying to place windows on second floor dosen`t work

I cliked on the copy thing because I coudnt take a screenshot(I have no idea why) so here it is.

Can you describe exactly what you were doing when this happened? For example, what did your house look like at the time?

How complex is your floor plan? I have tried pushing the builder to its limits using a 1-square wide gap in the floor plan to create multiple rooms. I was able to get that sort of working, and when walls were raised as I expected, the build tool rightly allowed me to put doors in the internal wall but not windows.

@sdee Well all I did was putting a window on the second floor, and to answer your question. Yes I was.
