I was wondering, and I may be a complete newb, but are you planning on implementing seasons? I just started thinking about this with the first snowfall of the year here. I suppose this could be modded in, but I though behaviors such as people sticking in houses more, and lighting log furnaces as well.

Implementing seasons/weather

I know that there will be a number of different biomes to discover in our exploration of the world, as such it doesn’t seem too terribly hard to add seasons/weather. Now I imagine manipulating the environment so that after X amount of in game time your grass biome turns into a snowy biome, which then turns into a different kind of grass, etc. might be overly complicated (or certainly not worth diverting resources from other aspects of the game), but how about if there was just a simple “wet” and…

Seasons were one of the stretch goals the Kickstarter met. There’s also holidays and festivals planned that will occur during the ‘year’, alongside more standard weather conditions and situations.
