I have designed a building and there is 1 ladder that is connected to the ground but is not being taken down and when I try to remove the ladder through the destroy item it is not being done?
Is there a solution to this issue?
It sounds like a bug, I had an issue like this where the ladder was actually inside the ground and the hearthlings couldn’t reach it. I had to use the destroy console command to remove it then the rest sorted itself out.

please keep in mind I do have other building work in play currenly
You can open the console with left ctrl - left shift - c, click the offending ladder and in the console type destroy, make sure you save before trying this incase you misclick.
