I would have to agree with you @SteveAdamo !
Quite so I’ve been loving the addition of the Mason and Blacksmith, as well as mining, but now I feel like it’s time for water to become added to the game
Since mining would be a major turning point in the beginning of water, being that we can now modify the landscape.
Wonder when it will actually be released
well they really want to release it by alpha 11 and then thats the first stage out of a couple so over the next few alphas it’ll be completed further
For me water is a very crucial thing.
I’d love to see water streams, being able to stop them (dams) and maybe even flood lower regions.
Using channels for trading via boat or letting my recourse gathering outside the city have a way to transport goods in large quantity into the city. And using the water as a defensive barrier.
Making desserts green and polder swamplands to become fertile grounds or even making wet terrain dry to build cities upon like Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris have done irl.
I really want to see them go in depth and not just have it be a cosmetic where you can couple some pipes to and …magic. I want to manage the water!
*hold towns upstream hostage by damming their watersupply! :v
Pipes are fine and all, but I’d like to see moving water around in the actual world. I want to engineer aqueducts! (and maybe water slides.) To me, it seems fairly logical that the engineer would mess around with water a lot, especially if there’s basic steam power, which would be amazing.
The water and waterfall components have been around for longer. They’re also actively changed between the last few builds, along with some other changes that indicate another feature being worked on.
I think water wheels would be more likely.
I love water wheels. They’re cool too. However, from the kickstarter:
[quote]New Class - Engineer: Fiendishly complex traps. Steam pumps.
Black powder. In his moments of genius, this Master Craftsman boosts
your town’s productivity with miraculously advanced tools and weaponry.
In his other moments…
“With steam, human ingenuity, and enough pipes, anything is possible!”

Well my hope is that at least all types of water bodies will be in the game, e.g. Glaciers(source), rivers, lakes and seas. Some lakes could have connecting rivers, input and out put rivers. And that this balance needs to be maintained or the lake will dry up/overflow.
casts revive…again
