Mining = LUA Resource Hog

Title: Mining Large areas causes LUA Resource Suck
Summary: When selecting a “large” area to mine LUA becomes the main memory resource hog and slows down the game. Probably runs between 70-95% constantly.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Setup a large mining area
2) Suspend Mining
3) Resume mining
Expected Results: Game should run as normal during all steps
Actual Results: Units begin to “stutter step” between steps 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 and LUA process takes up almost all of the resouces. Things are “normal” during step 2
Notes: I have a twitch highlight showing this. The actual moment is around 30 seconds into the highlight I also notices that this topic is related however it was “fixed” so there must be something new. Maybe be a part of optimizing for 64-bit machines but thought i’d note it.

I… Think I can confirm…

I cant watch the twitch vid right now, but I have noticed some significant issues when i start to issue large mining orders. I have not messed with suspending and resuming though.

I will investigate more when I get a chance to play tonight.
