I offer my Yak statues made of peat to @Naturalnuke in return for an alliance. I send out Trade ships (I was researching a navy so I could trade guys!) to make trade routes with every coastal country and one of these many trade ships to the Americas to bring me back Potatoes and Newfoundland dogs (The leader of this expedition was not Christopher Colombus but Shamus O’ Malley). I then start researching Martello Towers so I can defend myself.
Military:
I order for more troops to be recruited and defend this country
Diplomatic:
Sweden offers to trade crops for an Alliance with Poland.
a
Cultural:
I order for more farms and ranches to be built so we could feed our citizens and have good resources in case of emergency or if we want to trade with another country, and invests in agriculture.
I have a question. If we do not have a menu like thing for our resources, how will this game play out, because right now, there is no goal and there is no consequences if we die or something like that.
Military
Polish knights are marching into a battle against the Teutonic Order to end already existing war. Battle will be planed on the plains of Grunwald (red X on the map). If Poland will emerge victory, it will finally take back the access to Baltic Sea
(serif font - players, Arial - ‘npcs’)
Diplomatic
Polish Diplomats are going to Vytautas (regent of Wladyslaw II Jagiello in Lithuania) to expand the Polish-Lithuanian personal union in plans to create Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
Cultural
Poland invests this years in lands improvements.
Polish cartographs creates the first Empire Map*
light-green - “terra incognita” for every country
white - minor (non-player) nation
(“map including only players nations, made 4 fun, maybe will be useable”)
Okay, Modification done! The white countries anyone can play, and I listed the players. Please tell me if you want any improvements!
@Swift_Cube So if I trade with just maritime countries I will be trading with everyone? Correct me if I am wrong please. I just want to make sure because I don’t trust that @ManOfRet chap. He is obviously building a Navy to pirate my trade routes…
No, just specify whom you want to trade with, and be wary of @ManOfRet…
I’m Iceland
sorry.
@Newf Please don’t take my Naval buildup as a sign of aggression. I am building oceangoing boats for… unnamed reasons. However, let it be known that there will be no hostilities by sea from my own kingdom… for now. In fact, if it makes you feel better, I will sign a pact with you and your allies, one which will protect you from any attack from me in exchange for protection from yourself. A non-aggression treaty, if you will.
Non-agression pact accepted but I want you to ban immigrants from Corsica. This is insurance of Non-agression. In return I will trade peat (and potatoes if your a good boy) with you. Do not doubt peat, It is THE best resource for fires
Oke doke Ret, please use this as the diplomatic part of your turn.
Wait a second! Did @ManOfRet conquer Spain or did he fail horrendously and now faces hordes of angry spanish?
MT: Induce required military service of at least 2 years.
DT: I send an emissary to @Newf (UK)
CT: I send cargo ships with an explorer to the west in search of yaks and other durable animals.
Well, I was actually just proposing it now for use in the next turn. So that’s what I’ll put for my next turn’s diplomacy.
P.S. @Newf The Spanish were just finishing up in their Inquisition against the Muslim invaders from Africa. They were probably pretty tired and fairly willing to simply give in to the might of the Carolingians.
Could we just use the format I described in the rules, please?
?
Y’know, Military turn, Diplomacy turn, and Cultural turn?
Well I did send ships to america as well in search of Newfoundlands and Potatoes (The Irish can smell Potatoes from the other side of the planet. True Fact) so I don’t see why I wouldn’t tell my ally about a foreign land I found
Yeah, but organize them like how I put above:
Oh, I get it, Just so its more convenient when you organise the end of turn stuff
Better? refer to previous post
