Loading in old A16 saves in 3002

so when I load in an old save different things happen depending on the save, I have a couple small villages that load in fine. One of them loads in and gives this engine error

But when I load in my main A16 save, I get a different result, the UI never loads and I just get stuck in the UI loading phase, I can pan around but nothing else

That is as far as it gets, from there I have to alt-tab and close stonehearth.

You are having trouble with saves in 3002… Think you might need to reset to 2016…
