How to raise the water level?

I have been working a little with water, creating ponds and channels. But the water level from the lake has gone down a little too much. I was wondering if filling the deep bottom of the lake would raise this level again or if there is any other way to raise it, if doable!

Yes, if you ib the bottom of a lake your level will raise, just tested it on the map I’m working on for the lakeside village.

Edit, and wood 3 seems the best to make it almost invisible.

also want to mention that Water Part II will help with this, as their will be springs, rivers sinkholes, etc.

i havent heard anything about fish yet, other then fishing being done by hearthlings in their free time, and i dont think fish would be included in Water Part II, but rather something that added more animals.
