How do you remove existing buildings?

I did a google search and found a way to do it through the console, but I was wondering if I am missing the simple feature of deleting building mistakes that I have created.

Is is still possible to click on the blueprint? If so, simply do that and press remove.

Rubbing your hard-drive with alcohol should do the trick.
