A box pops up and reads:

I hate paying for a game not being able to even open it up please help!
What did you use to install Stonehearth because I dont recognize that location “SH-OB0-BUILD”

That is the name of the build machine TR uses, it sometimes appears Assertion errors that are thrown.
As @TheDerpySupport shared, we solved this exact error a few days ago. The post linked above doesn’t succinctly describe the solution so let me post it here:
Please navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_objects\stonehearth\analytics and delete everything inside that folder. Then go ahead and re-launch the game.
