Game randomly crashes

Hi folks,

I am running permanently in crashes :frowning: I don’t know, what’s the reason for this, but on my laptop I don’t have these kind of problems.

yes, tried to run it in compatibily mode for win8 and win7 - nothing changed - also the update of the last graphics drivers didn’t changed anything.
I am not playing in fullscreen

crash on startup? do you -see- anything happening? those kinds of details are rather important here :slight_smile:

it randomly crashes ingame - sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 20 minutes, sometimes just a few minutes in game - startup is working fine - and it doesn’t matter how many hearthlings I have - I had the crashes with 5 hearthlings or with 20 or 25 :frowning: - nothing special happening - it just gives a btd and closes itself

do you have a list of all your mods you are using? since i suspect the issue might be there (since you say amount of hearthlings doesnt matter, so i doubt its the game being starved of ram/processing power)

ACE, extra map options, workshop inventory display - but I don’t know, if it’s because of them, because I also have the issues when I am playing without these mods.

just those 3? ACE and extra map options should never cause it. not sure about the inventory display.
also, the game tells me you also have swamp goblins so shouldnt be surprised if you have more.

no, it’s “fisher+archipelago biome” - but as I said mostly deactivated

Just the start of the log is not much useful. Try to upload the complete version here.
Those “could not find resource for modB while processing mixintos for modA” can be safely ignored. It just means that modA tried to change something in modB but modB was not active.

do you have an idea how? - the log is more than 180000 chars long and the restriction is 32000 chars :frowning:

uploading the file somewhere usually works (have dropbox or something?)
beyond that if you are new to the forum maybe @max99x or someone could give you upload rights, then you can just drag the entire file to the chat box here and it should upload just fine.

Could be a faulty mod.
Usually crashes that would simple close the game are caused by bad or missing animations, cause those errors happen on a deeper level and has no chance to just turn into common error popups
If you want, you can also throw your save game, and people can check it for you.
