There was also Nerd3, who was the largest one (1.5 mil subscribers). And the difference between facebook and youtube comments is that on facebook, you choose who’s posts you see by friending them, but on youtube, its random people.
@Cannon0006 I believe Yogscast did it for exactly the same reasons as Nerd3 (spam and links=no fun)
right so you don’t choose not to click on a random post from a user you have never heard of? I think the whole thing is very silly. you cant expect to be nanny’d your whole life. its time to take responsibility. Perhaps people SHOULD be expected to be more savvy when it comes to safe browsing. cant have google looking after you all the time
As I said before, I am not worried about links in the comments for myself. It is the less computer savvy people that don’t know exactly what they’re doing that I’m worried about. And besides, I feel that there are no where near enough benefits of links in the comments to make them worthwhile .
