Worker Leveling System

I’ve actually been working on the side on a proposal for a new class system. I’ll be sure to include the concept of worker levels in that exploration.

I am also a fan of specialized workers: designated builder, designated hauler and designated miner. These last three could then level up in their fields, whilst allround workers could not.

The designated builder could maybe promote to the architect. The designated hauler should be able to craft all kinds of piles, because it already has struck me as weird, that you need the skills of a carpenter to pile up logs, not strength. In the hypothetical scenario that you add ore piles or ingot piles, that would mean you cannot pile up gold ores until you’d have a blacksmith. And that is just weird, maybe I want to pile them because I don’t have a blacksmith yet. This is just an example, for now, it is just a little weird.
