This year’s edition of Candledark was created by top community modder Froggy, who has done an awesome job (often during the deepest, darkest hours of the night) to improve and go beyond last year’s edition.

Here is the french translation for Candledark : fr.zip (2.5 KB)

Unfortunately, you will have to edit the main mod and add this line:

"stonehearth/locales/fr.json" : "file(locales/fr.json)",

to the manifest json to enjoy it.

OK sooo i have resolved the issue with the tanslationmod and the candlemod translation ^^

the manifest must looks like “German-Translation-v12.6/translations/de-DE.json” : “file(locales/de.json)”,

because there is no fr.json etc. in the normal stonehearth.smod at the moment xD

so i now i will complete the translation - because froggy has added some more lines xD and then i will upload the translation xD

EDIT: Sooo here is the geman translated candledark-mod - only useable with the german-translation-mod xD

Indeed but right now, the french translation is not released as a mod like yours, people have to install the file into Stonehearth locales. So in such case, my line above do work correctly.

I will have to release a mod I guess but I’m not that confortable with this, because ideally Stonehearth should at least support a few base languages to ease the experience of the base user (no need to search into forums or else, install things etc…)…

I know what you mean and i think they will add our translations when the game has been completed ^^ and also it was a good try for later mods :wink:

Wow… I never thought of it that way – but you’re right,a localized version of Candledark is indeed a mod of a mod.
