[Res] [Dev 2620] error in prune_dead_listeners

Glad I can help!
Hope this bug will finally be dead in the next update.

Guess this is fixed but reporting anyway; got this when killing a goblin in a little babby camp

I’m not 100% but I have a theory -

step 1: see a camp
step 2: send footman
step 3: footman sees first goblin, alert is popped.
step 4: even if a footman kills another goblin, error doesn’t happen until…
step 5: footman kills the goblin that he saw first, and I assume, popped the alert for

save 1: have not yet sent anyone to attack Free File Hosting - Online Storage; Upload Mp3, Videos, Music. Backup Files
save 2: foot man has slain half the camp, and the error has popped up Free File Hosting - Online Storage; Upload Mp3, Videos, Music. Backup Files

also, I noticed others using filedropper - is there a preferred location for save files?

save 1 hasn’t had any errors yet, so if you need to compare/contrast, it should be useful

system: win7, 64bit, 8gb Ram

any file sharing site will work, or if you prefer you could always send it to TR’s email,

This bug has already been fixed for the next build. Actually on develop-2620, we coded it so that the error is purely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay.

ah, Thanks for the reply, I was unaware - I guess in my eyes I wasn’t certain how dire the error was

UI is vanishing. This happens after an error but theres so many I can’t get them all. Last play it was when my soldiers killed a Goblin that roamed too close to home.

Seems to also be a memory leak somewhere. I play for maybe 15-20 minutes on a very small portion of the map, village has maybe 2 houses, 1 stock pile, and 7 hearthlings but I hit 98% memory usage and the game and computer in general just starts to studder.

SH is currently using 30% of my CPU and around 3GB memory and this is after I closed it, processes are still running in the background. PC is idling around 1.3GB of RAM usage while 2 chrome windows and Steam, various background processes. Around 12% CPU usage. Soon as SH runs the numbers just keep climbing til it caps out and I have to shut down SH for a few minutes.

EDIT: Log file is too large to upload, loaded the game. Crash occurred probably about 3 minutes into the game. This time I had sent a party to dispatch some goblins and had workers clear out some more stone. The issue is this seems to come out of no where. When a hearthling levels up, next time its when I open a crafting menu, etc. This one the error counter continued to count up until reaching 2250+ counts.

Uploading…

I have seen this a few times as well. UI becomes non-responsive (can still pan/zoom/rotate the camera, but can’t click any buttons or select anything). Pressing F5 to reload UI doesn’t resolve problem.

I copied the error to the Clipboard.
