[Res] [Dev 2620] error in prune_dead_listeners

This happend before Not able to build floors

And I have no idea what doing it, Reloading before it hits 1000 fixes it but it keeps coming back.

Hmm… This seems to be the same bug mentioned here: [Res] [Dev 2620] error in prune_dead_listeners

This bug has been Acknowledged by the Dev team and hopefully should be fixed soon.

It appears to be the game freaking out when you kill a goblin. Play in Peaceful mode until the next patch and you shouldn’t experience the error.

I had 2 footmen killing the occasional undead assailant (demoted to workers while there were no enemies) a few days into my latest playthrough and when the first armed goblin arrived I promoted them again and when they had killed the goblin i got this error spamming. I searched discourse for prune_dead_listeners it didnt turn up any results, so i figured i might post this:

develop-2611 (x64)
radiant/modules/events.luac:77: assertion failed!
stack traceback:
	[C]: ?
	[C]: in function 'assert'
	radiant/modules/events.luac:77: in function '_prune_dead_listeners'
	radiant/modules/events.luac:82: in function '_update'
	radiant/server.luac:19: in function <radiant/server.luac:17>

It also generated/spammed a second c++ error, pointing to the above one being the traceback. Hope there is enogh info in here :stuck_out_tongue:

edit: sorry for posting dupe and thanks for merge @Relyss

So my stonehearth started to lag and i could not select anything i could just look at what the villagers where doing. I could not even go to escape to save and reload the game file. I also noticed that stonehearth uses a lot of cpu and ram so my question is what is happening with my game?

Did you get any errors before you started to notice the issue? There’s a known issue that typically happens during combat where you get tons of errors very quickly. You can tell this because the error popup has a number in the top right that just continually increases.

If that happens to be it, it should be fixed in the next release. A workaround is to save, quit to menu, and then reload your game any time that happens. Read about it here:

If that’s not it, can you post what error you got and anything you might have been doing around when it happened?

i was not doing anything. I had people working the farms and restocking chests. But there was this goblin that tried to attack me, he failed somehow and then he started to go towards his camp and an error occured.

that is indeed the error that @jonzoid mentioned, so i have merged your topic with the original.

Hello everyone and deviant team !

I got exactly the same bug than Ecchi_Poro in the same way !
A goblin tryed an attack on one of my villager, he failed and then get back to his camp and the “looping” error started !

Just giving my experience of the bug

after i alt+tabed out, and back in, everything froze, but at least i had all the good things in a screen cap.

details: 2 goblins appeared inside walls. killed one goblin. started to atack the other goblin. the exact moment the error popped up was when the goblin started showing visible hp loss.

Sorry to say this but I’m still getting this error with the new build 2617. Got it killing a Goblin.

Anyone else want to post their bugs here go ahead!
[/quote]we would appreciate it if you would post one bug per report/thread, it makes it much easier for the devs to sort through and fix.
