When a Hearthling is assigned to place one of the clay windows, they place the window by standing on the window opening but once the job is completed but before they can descend the ladder another Hearthling comes along and steals their ladder. This then requires a rescue ladder to save the Hearthling from certain starvation as they are trapped on the window sill.
