Workers not taking mined ores to stockpile

so I’m in need of some ores, so I made my workers mined some rocks. They mined it as usual but the problem is they only take like a handful of the mined ores, and just left the rest lying on the ground.

is there any manual way to make them take all those to the stockpile?

if its fairly far away from your flag I would suggest either using the ‘loot’ option and highlight the items with it or set a crate or chest down nearby then once they fill that up move it closer to your stash pile
