Warning! Hack going around on steam!

There is a hack on steam that will hijack your account if you click on it.

It sends a link asking if this is you on the photo.

Figured i would warn as many as i can. If you click on it it will send the same message to everyone in your friends list.

As a gamer with a rather large collection of nice game and knowing there are bigger libraries out there i figured it was nothing but my duty to warn as many as i can.

Thanks. Does this come up when you open steam or?

Steam has shut itself down I think to deal with the hack, I can’t open it.

“Is this you on the photo ?”

As far as friends i got it from they originate from the UK or Cuba

Yeah, he got it from me, sorry. I could not get to everyone in my friends list in time.

I clicked it too… But I notified all of my steam friends about it, any idea what it does yet?
It also said download error… Not sure what that means, and none of my friends have got a message like that.

[/quote]As far as i understand it it will take your steam account if you do not change the password.

Had this from poor old @Valiance as well. Allegedly links to a .png file, actually links to a .scr file (usually used for screensavers etc). Obviously bad to go near it.
