Simulation.remote_client issue / Resolved

I’m leaving this here in case anyone has the same issue as I did.
Not sure whether this is a bug, or an issue with my new PC.

Stonehearth stutters every second or so for a second or two.

My stonehearth.log is getting spammed with entries like:

It keeps generating buffering messages until I close the client.
Okay… I figured it was a client server network issue, and so I started playing around with the setting on my PC. I figured out the problem while waiting for the youtube video to upload, before finishing this post. I’ve decided to post it anyway in case anyone else has the same problem.

The issue was with the ROG Game First software which prioritises game traffic over all other traffic. I disabled the application in services.msc and the issue went away.

Hope this helps someone else at some time in the future!
