Do you know what the size of a bird’s brain is? Because the ratio of brain size to body size is even smaller than a reptile’s… Meanwhile, us Glitch are modeled after homonids, specifically humanoids, which have the largest brain-to-body size ratio of all creatures on Earth.
PS - A Glitch can do enough calculations to determine 3.718 million ways to kill an Avian every 5 seconds, so I would stop talking if I were you.
PPS - The Glitch are actually a fairly peaceful race, unlike you murderous Avians. We exist to assist each other and our allies. However, I am beginning to see that you are most definitely not an ally of mine or the Glitch.
Also, the Glitch are quite humorous… at least to me. One of your kind said to me: “Why is your shell so malleable?”.

The Glitch exist to assist our allies. These allies tend to include humans, along with their advanced ways of maintenance and repair. Devoted. They are excellent doctors and mechanics, and serve us well. As such, we give our allegiance to them. Be wary, however, as there still exist marauders and the like. These “pirates” act in a very similar way to the Avians, and we do not trust them.

Actually, I’ve yet to actually start on the server, I’ve been on an FTL craze the last couple of days…
But don’t worry, @Alfie! I’m still a moderately passive person! I’m just a bit of an archivist/ borderline hoarder…
So, just so I’m not completely in the dark when I join (and make myself either look incredibly stupid or gain a ton of enemies): How does the server work? Is it one planet, a solar system, or infinite cosmos like the current solo beta? And how have residences/bases been set up by everyone?

but as for your other questions, we all share one entire universe (or infinite cosmos, as you said). You always spawn on the same planet, which is one with a lovely spawn home @Wiese2007 built for us… and we normally keep our stuff on your ships because the server wipes will be frequent due to the updates. Also some of us are in different sectors.
We don’t always start on the same planet. Sometimes I wonder if it changes depending on race, but my planet was barren. I just built a small shack on it for some protection.
Edit: Also on a private server I hosted, half of us started on one planet (Alpha Bazingo) and the other half started on another (Alpha R Scuti)
I thought we always did… interesting.
I thought this was just a roleplay thing and I LOVE roleplay so I have been enjoying it…
