When doing my first carpenter promotion, the ui lagged a little then when the promotion went through the sound it plays was super loud and echoing. It will be like this for 2-3 more job change then everything is fine.
What’s your computer’s volume at?

Normal volume, everything is sounds like where it should be, just that first couple promo I get a blast of echoing promotion jingle.

are you able to provide a video?
edit: were you super close to the promoted hearthling when it happened? as it gets louder the closer you get.

Same thing has been happening to me for the past several dev patches. Thought I was the only one.
Ok found and fixed the bug for the next patch! It gets louder the longer you keep the promotion window up while hearthlings are moving items in and out of inventory. Thanks everyone!
