# New colors/patterns for building?

Hey! Last year I suggested that there ought to be a wider selection for colors/color patterns for building houses, and I just wanted to see if there was any interest for that now. As of right now, there’s only one pattern for stone, but I would like to be able to build something using the same pattern, but a color scheme. For wood, there are two patterns, but each only has one color scheme. Admittedly this is a small gripe, but for a game that advertises player customization as a selling point, this would be a significant quality-of-life change.

I would like it if they added more colours. But the problem I have now is that I can barely see the difference between different coloured blocks when I place them. A solution would be to add a pipette so you automatically get the colour of the block selected when you use the pipette.

Indeed, such a pipette-tool have been suggested before:

I would also like if they would add slabs and stairs blocks it would enable you to build much more detailed buildings.
