Monitor Shopping

Recently I just finished my computer and was looking at my monitor and noticed that it doesn’t quite fit the setup. I want a really good computer monitor that can handle hardcore gaming, but at the same time doesn’t suffer from screen tearing, ghosting, or low Hz.

I would love to have an IPS display with 144 Hz, but that’s not a thing… The two I’m looking at are

ASUS VG248QE and ASUS VS278Q-P What do you think? Any recommendations?

@Feashrind I am using the VX228H (Asus) it is quite nice, other then the sound on mine kinda bugged out… But It is one of the cheapest and good monitors on newegg. ASUS VX228H Black 21.5" 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight Full HD 1080p Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 80,000,000:1 - Newegg.ca

It’s 1920 x 1080p and has HDMI ports.

EDIT: I think the sound thing is just cause I’m using weird cords, so ignore that.

i went with this 27-inch IPS monitor from Viewsonic (very reliable brand):

have had it for about 5-6 months? no complaints whatsoever… absolutely gorgeous monitor… :+1:
