# Messed up crafting

**Summary:** Will not craft Items

**Notes:** This bug i found with my herbalist is really annoying you have the resources and it will not make the item and re queuing it and re jobbing it does nothing!!!

Welcome to the forum, @101hdh 🙂

Could you upload the savefile where that is happening? It could be caused by several things. To upload it:

1. Find the save folder for the saves you wish to upload. By default, they are located in `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games` (assuming a default Steam install).
2. Zip the folder.
3. Right click the folder (should be a long set of numbers).
4. Left click on `Send to` in the menu that appears.
5. Left click on `Compressed (Zipped) folder).
6. _(Optional)_ Rename the folder to something different than the default set of numbers.
7. Upload the save.
8. If the zip is less than 10 MB, you can upload it directly. Either use the upload button ![](https://cdck-file-uploads-us1.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/flex022/uploads/stonehearth/original/3X/f/0/f0695c0a3009b1d69bedbdc9aaa3eb46eee4585d.png) or drag and drop it into the compose window,
9. If larger than 10 MB, upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.

Summary: Unable To craft anything

Steps to reprodude: I dont know

Expected Results: Hearthlings should craft stuff

Actual Results: They did not.

Notes: even though I have the resources to craft the things, (I also have th space) the things would not get crafted. I tried to give them the command to only make their Jobs, by disabling everything else. This goes for my Carpenter, Blacksmiths and so on. I waited for like 15mins without a change and I also lost afew quests because of that bug.

Version Number and Mods: Alpha 21 and no Mods

System Information: i7 6700k, AMD r9 390 ( thats All i can remember sry)

I’d like to give you my safestate, but I am not allowed to. I see so much potential in this game , because it remembers me of a ame I supported on kickstarter, that did not achive the funding goal.

According to your inventory, you don’t have enough wood. Blacksmith also needs wood to craft, so he and the carpenter must have consumed all of it.

I just happened to have the Discourse open, normally you wouldn’t get a response by a staff member this fast in the weekend 😅

I see oak logs laying around, but you need to loot them. If you hover over them they appear in red, which means they pertain to another faction (goblins, entlings, etc). Those can’t be used until they are looted.
