"Maximize Window" (Windows Mode) not saved properly

Summary:

In a dual-monitor setup Stonehearth remembers the size of my screen in windows mode… no matter on which of the two monitors I place the window. However, if I maximize the window size on my 2nd monitor Stonehearth saves this setting as “maximized” but on the 1st monitor.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Start Stonehearth in Windows Mode.
  • Resize and move to anywhere (but do not maximize).
  • Exit Stonehearth so the setting is saved.
  • Restart Stonehearth and maximize the screen on the 2nd monitor.
  • Exit Stonehearth so the setting is saved.
  • Restart Stonehearth and the game will be “enlarged” on the 1st monitor instead of the 2nd.

System:

  • Windows Home Premium (SP 1, 64 Bit)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 (Dual-Monitor-Setup @ 1’920 x 1’080 each)
  • i7-2600k
  • 16 GB RAM

Version:

Great work on the reports as usual @voxel_pirate I’m not sure why I feel the need to compliment you on this, as if it’s going to significantly improve your day … but take it anyway!

On a related note, you do have to wonder why they employ @not_owen_wilson, sort it out man!

I’m kidding, you’re my favourite. Even more so than @Albert.

If I ever win the lottery and start my own gaming company…remind me to hire you.

nice report @voxel_pirate, but just to balance the scales (after @Geoffers747’s gushfest), I feel I should point out one of your flaws… … …

you, … enjoy moonlit walks on the beach, and talking about your feelings… ?
