# Latest version, random crashes, see log

**Summary:**  
latest version, for the first time i get random crashes.

**Steps to reproduce:**

just play play the game:  
crash.

**Expected Results:**  
no crash

**Actual Results:**  
crash to desktop, no error or something visable.

nordlingmod, and multiple others, though i suspect its not mod based.

I’m getting this too, as of last night. Didn’t get it before then. Game has crashed about 5 times this morning in about 15 minutes of play. Makes it impossible to play.

Not letting me upload save file. Says it’s too big, even in the zip folder.

easy\_mode  
miner\_prof  
norsehearth  
smart\_crafter

Those haven’t changed recently.

Here too - I removed all mods, start a new single player game in 0.24.0 r848, crash happens every 5 -10 minutes.

Just wanted to add that I too have this random CTD. I can’t test in this state. Will there be a hot fix or we waiting till Thursday?

I do believe such annoyances like the random hard crashes do deserve an hotfix. I haven’t touched the game for a while after it crashed in this version because I don’t like playing and testing a game in which I know it’ll just randomly put me back to desktop where I least expect it.

It was an auto save, which has since been auto deleted, but I can get you the closest thing I have.

Actually, my zip file is too big. 13000 KB. Can I email it or something?
