# Latest build: Amberstone mason pedestal

**Summary:**

I’m playing northern Alliance, i’m doing Amberstone quest and they give me their mason pedestal  
I have place Amberstone mason pedestal and remove the mason pedestal.

**Steps to reproduce:**

Place Amberstone mason pedestal without mason pedestal and watch workshop wont use the Amberstone mason pedestal

**Expected Results:**

My mason would work on it, without anyproblem

**Actual Results:**

They want “Mason pedestal” placed

The Amberstone Mason Pedestal is not the Mason Pedestal 😉

But if it can’t be used as a mason pedestal, that’s no good. The kiln and potter workbench have upgrades and they are usable. This mason pedestal can open the mason workshop UI but can’t be used to craft, which seems to be a bug.

**Summary:**  
The amberstone mason pedestal is not sufficient enough to craft items that need a pedestal placed. You have to have the original one place in the world, which to me just sounds stupid.

**Steps to reproduce:**

1. Have a amberstone mason pedestal placed.
2. Don’t have a normal mason pedestal placed.
3. Try to craft something, ex. Flameruby or Trapper’s knife

**Expected Results:**  
Should work

**Actual Results:**  
Doesn’t work  
**Notes:**  
please fix this minor bug.

Latest build that is out, latest latest on steam. Which is minimally tested.

**Summary:**  
Can’t craft anything made from regular mason’s pedestal with the amberstone one

**Expected Results:**  
Masons use the amberstone pedestal for crafting

**Actual Results:**  
It is not recognized as a mason’s pedestal, and nothing gets crafted

Smart Crafting  
Better Storage
