# Hearthlings dying from thirst?

Came back to playing after a while and is there now a mecanic of hearthlings dying from thirst? i cant even create a well yet to save them and they are all dying \>.\>

It’s a mod issue.

Also, before posting, try the search. Some times, like this, the problems have already been addressed. When they have, you can find a quick solution to your problem, rather than waiting for an answer.
