Heart of a Crafter trait bug

resolved

#1

Hey Guys,

This is my first post so please excuse me if it is all over the place.

Summary:

Just started a new game with the most recent update and I’ve noticed with my Hearthling that has the ‘Heart of a Crafter’ trait, he is experiencing both the Low Morale ‘Idle Hands’ and High Morale ‘Fruitful Labors’ at the same time.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have a Hearthling with the ‘Heart of a Crafter’ trait.
  2. Wait until the Low Morale ‘Idle Hands’ appears.
  3. Have them craft something

Expected Results:

‘Idle Hands’ changes to ‘Fruitful Labors’

Actual Results:

Both ‘Idle Hands’ and ‘Fruitful Labors’ are active at the same time, cancelling each other out.

Version Number and Mods in use:

Alpha 21 dev 3362, no mods

System Information:

Windows 10 Version 1607
Intel Core i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00GHz
8.00GB RAM
64-bit OS, x64-based processor
GeForce GTX 760

hey there @Lilacia, welcome to the discourse

hmm… that’s odd, i can’t seem to repro this, every time they have the “idle hands” thought and craft something new it goes away for me and gets replaced with the “fruitful labors” thought…

does this happen every time, or was it a one time thing?

Just seems to be on that particular save game.

#4

strange, could you upload the save for the team to take a look at? To upload a save,

locate the folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games (assuming a default Steam install), zip the individual save’s folder (not the entire saved_games folder), and upload it. If the *.zip is less than 10 MB, feel free to upload it directly to the Discourse. If larger, please upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.

hope this helps

This bug was spotted before the release, but the fix didn’t make it in time so it will be on the next one :confounded:
