# Furniture not appearing in Place Item menu

I’ve been having problems with some furniture (Mean Bed and Lanterns, so far) not appearing in the place item menu after the carpenter crafts it. It’s kind of difficult to manually sift through the items in the stockpile looking for a certain item to place. This has happened to me in two different towns now. Anyone else have this problem, or have a fix?

have you tried re-assigning a new storage area just for furniture

That fixed it, thanks! For some reason my workers weren’t placing things in the stockpile and it seems you can’t access anything from the place item menu that isn’t in a stockpile. 🙂
