Fighter with Iron Pike have wrong animation

Summary:
A fighter with a Iron Pike uses the same animation for fighting and movment like he has a sword. This dosn’t looks very good

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Equip an fighter with an “Iron pike”
    2 a) watch the movement animation.
    2 b) fight some enemy

Expected Results:
The usage of a spear should look like pierce or stabing something.

Actual Results:
Currentliy its more a swingen or slashing.

Notes:
I think everyone has noticed this before

@8BitCrab That’s what I call a miss of optimization :yum:
I don’t know if the animation for the spear is actually done but thanks for posting it.

To my knowledge, there’s no difference in animations between weapon types yet. I imagine we might start seeing some new ones with the upcoming implementation of ranged combat (melee combat might get revamped alongside it).
