I use windows 7 and I have updated drivers

Welcome to the forum, @Gabriel_Alecrim :slightly_smiling_face:

Is there a crash.dmp in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth folder?
If so, could you upload it? (Just drag and drop it into the reply window).

Also, in that same folder there should be a text file called stonehearth.log. Could you upload it too?

I do not have charsh.dmp
I do not know what format the stonehearth.log file is, but I believe it to be this: 2017-07-26 14: 46: 41.461618 | Server | 1 | App | Stonehearth Version (x64)

Hmm that’s not much information, it seems to have stopped when it was initializing the graphics.
Which graphic card do you have?

The log you pasted in the first post mentions ntdll.dll which I believe is a file from Windows, so maybe there was some bad Windows update or something?

Did you try any other workarounds besides updating the drivers?

Also, just to confirm, do you have Service Pack 1 installed in your Windows 7?

I have service pack 1, I have an intel core i3 and use a notebook

The problem in ntdll.dll maybe because of missing another update in windows?

It could be? I’m not sure, but if that library is in a bad state it could also affect other applications in your Windows.

Hm okay, but what about the graphical settings on my notebook?

Did you update your drivers from here: Intel® Driver and Support Assistant , or from a different application in your computer?

Since you’re running a laptop, it’s possible that your graphic card is an integrated from Intel, maybe it’s the Intel HD Graphics which sometimes is equivalent to Intel HD 2000 (the minimum to run the game is Intel HD 3000).
Or maybe I’m wrong and you have an Nvidia or AMD card.

Did you already try reinstalling the game? :

  1. Launch Steam.
  2. Right-click Stonehearth and click Properties
  3. Click on the Local Files tab
  4. Click Browse Local Files...
  5. If you have saved games or templates to save, complete the following. Otherwise, skip to step 6 below.
  • For saved games, copy saved_games to another location, like your Desktop.
  • For templates, copy saved_objects to another location, like your Desktop.
  1. Go up one directory level to the common folder.
  2. Delete the Stonehearth folder.
  3. Close Windows Explorer and return to Steam.
  4. Right-click Stonehearth and click Uninstall...
  5. Once removed, right-click Stonehearth again and click Install Game...
  6. If you backed up saves or templates in step 5 above, do the following. Otherwise, skip to step 12.
  7. Right-click Stonehearth and click Properties
  8. Click on the Local Files tab
  9. Click Browse Local Files...
  10. Copy the backed up folders into Stonehearth folder.
  11. Close Windows Explorer.
  12. Launch Stonehearth
  13. Finally…
  • If this works, great! Please let us know so we can mark this as resolved.
  • If not, please upload your stonehearth.log from the game install directory (follow steps 2-4 if unsure how to access) to the Discourse so we can take a look.

Unfortunately reinstalling did not work

stonehearth.log (1.3 KB)

Yeah, so it must be related either to your graphics or that faulty ntdll.dll file.

Is there anything I can do to fix this error in ntdll.dll?

I asked and that file should be fine actually, otherwise you should have seen way more applications in your computer failing badly.

Could you tell us which graphic card do you have? If you’re unsure, select start on Windows, type dxdiag, then go to the Display tab and it should be shown there.

The game is crashing right when it’s going to initialize the graphics.

What’s in the second tab (Exibir)?

display in portuguese

Could you click on it and share a screenshot?

okay, here it is.I hope that helps you

Did you find any solution?
