i got this when i tryed to promote a footmen the errors just keep coming so cant close the windows.
after i got it i tryed to reload the same savegame i got it again when i tryed to promote the guy again.

Got the same while trying to demote a carpenter … I’ll never do that again I promise 
This is actually a different manifestation of this bug: [Con] Alpha 5, Build 1658 - Max_Level error
When you save/load the game, there’s a chance that all profession-related things (gaining XP, leveling up, down, etc) become unstable.
@ponder is looking at this now.
