Summary: Trying to design a custom building in the new builder, it seems to either “lose” windows when being lowered into the ground, or pop back out of the ground when I fiddle with the walls to get the windows back.
Steps to reproduce:
- Load up save file
- Enter building editor
- Click the floor of the large building in the process of being designed, and lower it into the ground
- Fiddle with the height of the walls that just lost their windows
Expected Results:
At step 3 above: Building lowers 1 voxel into the ground with all fixtures remaining in the same relative place
At step 4 above: Building stays at its current height, save for the walls being fiddled with
Actual Results:
At step 3 above: Building lowers 1 voxel into the ground; windows disappear from 2 outer walls on the upper floor
At step 4 above: Windows pop back into existence, building pops back out of the ground
Notes:
As a sidenote, I did prior to this spectacle repeatedly try to carve holes in the stairs, as I was hoping to let my Hearthlings enter underneath them. While I doubt that’s what triggered the glitching, I do find it odd that I can’t use the hole tool on the stairs, and I’m not sure if this was intended behavior or another indication that something funky is going on.
