Wanted to upload my two malfunctioning buildings but got the the “new user can’t upload files” problem. Anyway to get past that?

Hi! On Christmas, I specifically went out to find a home that no town would build for you guys. I believe this building is being affected by the block-lacement that Csc106 was referencing (anything resembling a staircase).

I had issues with buildings as well. I’m sure its already been said, but I found ladders extremely helpful. Atleast until they improve some of the building AI.
Figure I’d try with some of the downloads above and see if ladders do help.

I’d like to add this building to the list.
I don’t entirely know how to upload a savefile, but I gladly will if someone could tell me how. I don’t know entirely what broke the building, but I would be willing to bet it was either doing the two stories, or adding a “roof” I made out of slabs to the side… wing-y bit… I like putting my potters kiln outside, ok? But yeah, they built the side wing-y bit and absolutely nothing else. I have checked that the whole building is set to build, and I’m pretty sure it is. preeeetty sure.

Have a couple odd ones, but I think I might know what causes them to not build these.

Those two above the template worked. The links are just the pics; unsure how to show them as pics since there is no button on the editor for them.
The third one I could only get a snapshot of already placed among buildings that were built next to it. The template file for some reason does not work.

I appologize for the last one, as time at the moment is pressing. The snapshot shows the side of the building to the left, as the one on the right up against the walk through actually built with a little ladder help. The awning walkthrough was suppose to be part of the house to the left, but for some reason the template I guess failed to save correctly I am guessing.
My guess is the awning on both the storehouse and failed template that is causing them from even starting to build them.
The 2-story one is more likely the wrap around stairs with archway underneath causing them to say no way are we going to even start that.
I guess they are a bit too complex for them to make an awning in the current version. Don’t know actually what is causing it, but that is my best guess.

To add a picture to a post, simply copy and paste the image in, and you should see [Uploading...]() appear in the editor. Wait a few seconds and the picture should load!

Oh so the uploading works for pics as well. I was more thinking along the lines of if pic is off site, like my steam snapshots; which would have a link. Not seen very many sites that didn’t have one for option to do so.
So I guess best to be local I suppose. Finding those snapshots is always tedious, as would have to memorize numbers upon numbers to find them. Steam problem that I don’t really like. Regardless, Thank you; might do that from now on, even if it is a bit tedious.

If you want to leave it off site, you can add <img src= in front of your link, and > after it. So for your first image, adding <img src=http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/367408356164552789/A5944AAB40D075FDF86CD6D0FC23F7E462E0F973/> to your post would produce
Please note, the link would need to point directly to an image (like Steam), not to a website with am image displayed among other resources (like a typical Dropbox link).

Summary:
Tried to build this building only to have them stop on the first floor and not even build the first roof of the building.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start building
- Wait for them to build the first floor up
- Will not complete the building

Hi guys!
Since my latest build involves slabs, there is a higher chance that the building will tweak out. Depending on the processes your computer is running, or if you’re using normal vs double speed, you may find your Hearthians unable to retrieve all of the ladders for the scaffolding.
