Personally I think the dragon is way-too-detailed compared to the Stonehearth style. Unless (as my note above) you wanted to go for the effect where things uber rare get uber detailed. I think the chocobo are just-a-little-too-detailed for the established style. Though in both cases, I think it’ll be hard to make nice scales or feathers without adding more detail.
