Here’s a list of things I’ve attempted to remedy the situation, in the order they were done;
- Update all driver files including Audio, Video, Chipset and LAN
- Manual removal of all Stonehearth content (Files, Saves & Registry Information)
- Clean install of the Steam version.
- Attempt to run x64 and x86 versions, same error.
- Manual removal of all Stonehearth content (Files, Saves & Registry Information)
- Clean install of the Humble Bundle version.
- Attempt to run x64 and x86 versions, same error.
- Manual removal of all Stonehearth content (Files, Saves & Registry Information)
- Unzip and install the “Manual” version.
- Attempt to run x64 and x86 versions, same error.
- Attempted to use the “libcef.dll” file from a friend who’s x64 Stonehearth is working.
- Attempt to run x64 and x86 versions, same error.
Please note that I’m a computer repair professional so I do NOT run any anti-virus or anti-spyware, I don’t need to use “run as administrator” because everything automatically does, and my Windows firewall is the first thing I disable after a reformat.
That said, this crash has me completely befuddled.
