ISSUE SOLVED
I don’t usually go for Windows patches if my PC is running flawlessly. That said, apparently if you’re running Windows 7 it’s now a Stonehearth requirement that you have Service Pack 1 installed. After the installation of SP1 finished Stonehearth no longer crashes at launch. Now I can return to reporting actual in-game bugs.
