2x NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti (SLI)
I’m going to assume no errors, pop-ups, or anything of that nature? It crashes the same in game or in start menu?

I assume that you have the 64-bit enabled in your user_settings.json file with the proper value?
I remember more people having this issue, anyway…
It would appear it only crashes from the start menu. When I’m either in the settings menu or just looking at the main screen. There is a glitch in the music, no popups or errors and boom back to the desktop.
If I press continue before it crashes and I get in game, it appears to hold out. I haven’t had a chance to test how long yet though.
I changed between 32-bit and 64-bit in the settings menu. (Very quickly before it crashes.) After restart the screen shows the appropriate x32 or x64.
Ah crock, I finally figured where the game logs. There is also a crash.dmp there. Can’t upload the log or dmp, so here is the log:

Fully upped the graphics setting as suggested in that one, but to no avail.
Try deleting user_settings.json and than change the graphics options.
Fiddling with that I actually found out the real cause. If I start the exe directly, no crash. If I start through Steam it crashes. I have Steam Overlay switched off.
Tried running it via Steam with the overlay activated? I can’t reproduce this bug myself - my game runs fine via Steam in 64-bit mode with the overlay off .
